On a recent coastal paddle Teignbridge Canoe Club members discovered a large amount of marine plastics on Pudcombe Cove beach, South Devon. We cleared what we could on the day but the volume of marine litter was such that it needed a dedicated clean up.

The club teamed up with the organisation”Till the Coast is Clear” and the National Trust Ranger service to organise a clean up the follow week.

Together we removed 10 dumpy bags of marine plastic from the beach, benefiting wildlife and the environment.

Through “Till the Coasts Clears” partnerships, all recovered material will be up cycled, recycled or used for waste to energy production. Nothing will go to land fill.
